Information about CSC-AA / DCSC-AU

Centre for Scientific Computing in Aarhus CSC-AA is a Center under The Faculty of Science at The University of Aarhus. CSC-AA was established Juli 1st 2002.

CSC-AA purchases computers, mainly by grants from The Danish Center for Scientific Computing, DCSC - an organisation under the The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. CSC-AA also runs HPC computers for other institutions/groups at The University of Aarhus.
Due to the fact, that the activities in CSC-AA are mainly for DCSC, CSC-AA is also called DCSC/AU.

CSC-AA purchases, maintains, runs and supports high performance computers. CSC-AA defines, implements and enforces the policies for use of the computer resources in collaboration with the users.

CSC-AA's organisation consists of a board, a Center leader, and the staff.
